We often hear Singaporeans complaining how Australia’s way of life is better and all, and that everyone wants to migrate there once they get their hands on their CPF(actual one, not the monthly feel-rich kind of statement). The highly-paid and capable (emphasis fully intended) government of Singapore has now heeded your calls, for once.
Singapore has officially confirmed the presence of kangaroos here running around freely. This is our first step to becoming the paradise known to Singapore as Australia. Next up, wallabies.
So for the author of this rather personal entry about whether the grass is greener in Australia or not, no more debate. Singapore’s grass is now as green since we now have kangaroos. Next time, we will be greener, just like we will be Numero Uno for anything.
